This hotel suits me perfectly. Free parking, 24-hour reception, and comfortable rooms with flat-screen TVs make my stays enjoyable. During my first visit, staff helped me print tickets, which was nice. Highly recommend this place!

my stay was fantastic because everything was just a short walk away, including the iconic york minster and the lovely national railway museum, perfect for weekend city strolls and exploration! As a solo traveler, i appreciated the excellent breakfast that set me up nicely for a day of wandering around the quaint streets and parks of york, making it a comfortable base to return to after my adventures. absolutely loved that my room was clean and the staff was welcoming. but the hotel could improve by ensuring a higher standard of cleanliness in the rooms, as i noticed a bit of dust in some corners.

Family with kids will enjoy it

The breakfast was really good with lots of choices, I mean, it wasn’t just your usual stuff. The staff were all so friendly, they even went the extra mile for the kids which I really appreciated.

The parking situation leaves something to be desired. spaces can be hard to come by and were particularly limited during my stay, so be prepared for that. the shower head felt pretty small, not exactly suitable for anyone over a toddler's height. I noticed a musty smell in the room which detracted from the otherwise decent experience. On top of that, breakfast charges seem a bit steep for what you get, which felt more like a quick grab-and-go rather than a legitimate dining setup.

Had such a chill time! The staff were super friendly and made us feel at home, especially during breakfast. The location is perfect, just a stone's throw from York city. Plus, there's a Toby Carvery nearby for an easy dinner. Only thing was the room could've been a bit more spacious. But overall, it was a cozy stay!
